Going through these reading assignments made me so incredibly excited for this class! I love reading and always have since I was a kid but I feel like since college I've really let that go. In case you couldn't tell from my choices above I absolutely love fairy tales. I've loved fairy tales for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest reading memories is this collection of fairy tales from various European countries that had these beautiful illustrations. I used to read that book every single week until the cover fell off. Ever since then I have had a deep love for fairy tales from all different cultures. While I enjoy myths and hero stories and the like, I am most excited for the fairy tale stories. In fact, there were so many interesting reading choices I had a really hard time deciding and I'm sure I'll read some more for an extra credit assignment!
